Article marketing made easy - how to do it and make it really work for you
This has now all changed. With the advent of social interaction and bookmarking and recent changes to the SERPS like Google and Yahoo, junk gets junk placement. If you write junk or copy others content you will at best get placed in the supplemental index where you will get zero traffic. Article marketing is no longer for prolific spammers (those with over 10,000 useless articles posted at leading ezines) with little or nothing to contribute. Nowadays you need to write great content and unique content. Give your prospective audience some intellectual meat. Teach them something and provide them with articles of substance.
This is also called creating linkbait. Make compelling content that others will be dying to share and link to. If you can do this you will reap the rewards with huge boosts in traffic and targeted traffic at that. Now you can post your content and articles at the leading ezines for quick publication throughout the internet. These are the top ezines:
ezinearticles.com
searchwarp.com
ideamarketers.com
isnare.com
There are hundreds of other ezines out there, but these are the big 4 and they control most of the traffic (akin to Google and the search engine traffic - there are hundreds of search engines and Google controls like 75% or so of it).

Now you need to create a compelling title so you catch your potential readers attention. It is good to include a keyword or two here. Something like "Armegeddon on the horizon? Could Jesus be making his return in 2012?"
See, that is compelling, uses big keywords armegeddon and Jesus, and states it might have some interesting info for you on this topic.
After you have a great title, you need to write the meat or main content of the article. Make notes and outline it first so you end up where you want and don't contradict yourself or end up losing the reader. Start with an introduction. State your arguement (what point you want to make or discuss). Then follow this up with a few paragraphs explaining the situation or topic and then state some interesting or counter points of view (this will add credability to your articles and content). Answer all of these with how your idea works or similar. Then you end with your conclusion.
Make several rough drafts and then when you have it finalized type it in. Also, don't forget to include an about the author box. This is where you will get links to your websites which is why we are writing articles, right? To get additional and free traffic that is highly targeted. Now take the articles and submit them to the top ezines listed above and you will start receiving traffic almost immediately. The better the articles and content the better the traffic.
A well written article can literally bring in 100 to 1000 times the traffic of a poorly or lesser quality article. Some great articles have actually been able to deliver upwards of 200,000 pageviews all by them selves in less than 1 year! Strive to promote great content and don't litter the web with useless ramblings and garbage.
