Speech Topics - Informative Speech Topics In 5 Steps

Informative speech topics are easier to find then you might think. Just follow my Five Steps Method, and in the end you have developed an informative speech topic that will surprise your audience.

1. Make a short list of your interests. Answer these questions:

To help you determining your interests: think about your favorite objects, products, people, animals, events, places, processes, procedures, concepts, policies or theories.

2. Determine the interests and needs of your audience. What do they want to learn?

3. Review the short list of your interests and make a decision. Choose the informative speech topic that is also interesting to your audience.

4. Research just one new single aspect of that topic. Look for new information that surprises your listeners. To help you researching: look for new facts, figures, stories, statistics, surveys, personal experiences, professional experiences, quotations, comparisons and contrasts.

5. Demonstrate the steps, stages, pros and cons, and effects by the use of visual aids.

And that's it!

Jim Peterson and his Five Steps Method can be used as the base for many topics for a speech. You can find more information and a 100+ informative speech topics at speech-topics-help.com/informative-speech-topics.html.

I had to give a few speaches in my day. The worst thing about giving speeches and speaking in public or to an audience is the anxiety and fear. Writing a speech is quite easy. Its just like writing an article or content for your website. Saying it in front of a bunch of people is quite a different matter. This takes time, experience and the desire to persevere. No one is born a great speaker. They become great speakers through experience, time and especially hardship and motivation.

Great ideas man, I love this website.  Bestbraindrain has lots of neat stuff that makes good bathroom reading.  I love to print out a few pages of content and then read it when I take a crap.  It makes crap time so much more educational and interesting.
